About Support at Home
Support at Home is a new government-led approach to in-home care for older people. It was brought in Aged Care Act in November 2025.
It consolidates several current programs—including Home Care Packages, Short-Term Restorative Care, and parts of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)—into a single, more adaptable system.
The full details are available to read in the Support at Home program handbook.
A focus on rights and transparency
One of the core principles of Support at Home is a rights-based approach to aged care. This means services are delivered in a way that respects your independence, values your preferences, and protects your dignity.
A Code of Conduct sets clear expectations for all aged care providers and workers. Standardised pricing applies across the sector to ensure fairness.
Dhelkaya Health will always provide clear, upfront information about fees and changes to fees.
