Ellery House is a 60-bed high care residential aged care unit which delivers 24/7 clinical care by highly qualified, experienced staff who truly value older people.
The facility is located high on the Castlemaine campus of Dhelkaya Health with amazing views across the town.
Offering a warm welcome to new clients and their loved ones, we work to ensure a full understanding of their needs, and work with them to meet their care goals whilst establishing strong relationships with their friends and family from day one.
We work closely as a team to deliver excellent person-centred care to meet the needs of every resident.
In Ellery House you will find a large, spacious facility with multiple communal living and activity spaces for residents.
A mix of single and double rooms, some with ensuites, some with shared bathrooms, Ellery House is surrounded by landscaped gardens welcoming the residents to enjoy the outdoor spaces.
With a dynamic and engaging lifestyle and activities program, onsite Allied health services including podiatry, physiotherapy, dietetics and speech therapy, most care needs can be met in the comfort of our resident’s home.
Additional services include visiting hairdressers, mobile dental and audiology services.
Strong relationships with local schools, kindergartens and entertainers work to promote intergenerational living experiences for our residents and keep them in touch with the community of Mount Alexander Shire.
Penhall Hostel, Castlemaine
Penhall Hostel is a 32 bed residential aged care facility which delivers 24/7 clinical care by highly qualified, experienced staff who truly value older people.
The facility is located at the base of the Castlemaine campus of Dhelkaya Health, adjacent to the community swimming pool and Botanical Gardens.
