Residences
Castlemaine Campus
At Dhelkaya Health, our residential aged care homes are places of comfort, connection and belonging.
Across two welcoming campuses in Castlemaine and Maldon, we offer four thoughtfully designed homes where residents are supported to live well, every day.
Each home has its own unique character, offering a range of single and shared rooms, some with private ensuites. Many rooms overlook peaceful courtyards or beautifully landscaped gardens, inviting residents to enjoy the calming presence of nature right outside their door.
Life at Dhelkaya Health is about more than care – it’s about feeling at home. Warm, shared living and activity spaces create opportunities to connect with others, take part in meaningful activities, or spend relaxed time with family and friends.
From the moment someone joins our community, we take the time to listen. We work closely with residents and their loved ones to understand what matters most, building trusting relationships and personalised care plans that support individual goals, dignity and independence.
Our dedicated team provides compassionate, person-centred care, complemented by a vibrant lifestyle and activities program and a devoted pastoral care team that supports residents’ body, mind and spirit. With a wide range of onsite allied health services – including physiotherapy, podiatry, occupational therapy, continence care, specialist wound care, dietetics and speech therapy – most care needs are met in the comfort and familiarity of home.
Residents also enjoy the convenience of visiting hairdressers, as well as mobile dental, optometry and audiology services. Through strong connections with local schools, kindergartens and community entertainers, we create meaningful intergenerational experiences that keep residents connected to the heart of the Mount Alexander Shire.
Our staff are qualified, highly skilled and deeply committed – with some having worked in our residential homes for more than twenty years. Alongside them, our volunteers bring warmth, compassion and a genuine love of connection.
We welcome all referrals and are proud to be Rainbow Tick and NDIS approved.
At Dhelkaya Health, you’re not just choosing aged care – you’re choosing a community that cares, connects and truly feels like home.
