Dhelkaya Health’s main entry transformation project continues at pace, with more accessible health services and improved parking now in sight for the community.

The project is opening up the main front entrance to the Castlemaine hospital and increasing the number of carparks and accessible car parks available to visitors.

As part of this project, general construction works and asphalting works are taking place outside the main entrance over the next four weeks. This means vehicle access to the Urgent Care Centre will move a little further north along Odgers Road temporarily. Pedestrian access may also be changed on Odgers Road depending on the works happening at the time.

Patient drop-off and pick-up will continue to be available, as will access for ambulances. However, we’re asking everyone using the main entrance whether in a car or on foot to be aware that some adjustments will be in place. All drivers and pedestrians should take care and follow the signage in place.

Once these essential works have been completed all visitors will have a much-improved experience when coming to the Castlemaine campus. These final stage changes will be worth the wait.
