Dhelkaya Health is pleased to announce that its Volunteer Patient Transport Service has returned to operating five days a week—Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm—thanks to increased staffing behind the scenes.
The service, which provides vital transport for eligible patients attending medical appointments, had been temporarily running three days a week during a recent review period. With the appointment of a new dedicated staff member, Jasmine Forte, to oversee the service, Dhelkaya Health is now in a strong position to meet growing community needs.
“We’re delighted to have Jasmine on board and to be able to return to a full five-day schedule,” said Sue Race, Dhelkaya Health CEO. “This service is a lifeline for many in our community who would otherwise struggle to attend essential appointments.”
The Volunteer Patient Transport Service is supported by a team of generous and committed volunteer drivers, and Dhelkaya Health is now actively seeking more volunteers to join this important program. Dhelkaya Health provides a safe and reliable vehicle for all patient trips, so new drivers need only complete a short induction before being welcomed to the team.
“If you have a current driver’s licence and a little time to give each week, we’d love to hear from you,” said Jasmine Forte, Service Coordinator. “Our volunteers make a real difference every day.”

Dhelkaya Health extends its sincere thanks to all current and past volunteer drivers whose support makes this vital service possible.
