In partnership with Dhelkaya Health, Newstead RTC and Maldon Men’s Shed will be hosting an information session to help locals better understand the My Aged Care process and what supports are available through the Support at Home service (previously known as Home Care Packages).
Dhelkaya Health’s Community Health Nurse, Melodie Cameron and Support at Home Care Partner, Robyn Braszell will cover a number of topics in this session, including:
- What is Support at Home funding?
- What is Commonwealth Home Support Program?
- How are these funding programs different?
- Where do you start?
- What are participant contributions?
- What are some of the services I can receive to assist me to remain in my home?
The one-hour sessions are free to attend and everyone is welcome.
- Newstead Rural Transaction Centre – Thursday 26 March – 11 am
- Maldon Men’s Shed – Wednesday 15 April – 11 am
