Dhelkaya Health is inviting the community to come together for a good cause as it hosts Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea in support of the Cancer Council on Thursday 21 May at the Tea Rooms in the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens.
The event aims to raise funds for vital cancer research, prevention programs and support services. Around 150,000 Australians are diagnosed with cancer each year, with nearly half the population affected by the age of 85. Funds raised have already helped boost survival rates significantly over recent decades.
Community members are encouraged to attend from 10:30am to 12.30pm, bring a plate to share and make a small donation. More than just a morning tea, the event offers a chance to connect, support those impacted by cancer and contribute to meaningful change.
Dhelkaya Health runs a Cancer Rehabilitation and Survivorship service which helps cancer survivors and their carers regain strength, health and quality of life after a cancer diagnosis.
