Dhelkaya Health supports GenV, a research project aiming to improve the health and wellbeing of Victorian families.
GenV is a very inclusive project with a strong belief that all children deserve the best possible start to life. GenV (short for Generation Victoria) is led from the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute at The Royal Children’s Hospital.
GenV is supported by partners and collaborators, including all birthing Victorian hospitals, across Australia.
GenV has over 100,000 participants from across Victoria!
GenV team members will continue visiting parents and their newborns in hospital until October 2023. Parents can also join online or over the phone anytime.
No matter their background or location, families in Victoria are encouraged to join.
Joining and taking part is easy. Your participation helps paint a complete picture of the health and wellbeing of an entire generation. This could help researchers find better prediction, treatment and prevention of conditions that affect so many families.
What can I do to help?
- If you live in Victoria and have a baby born between 4 October 2021 and 3Â October 2023 you can visit genv.org.au and select ‘join now’.
Dhelkaya Health hopes parents consider being part of GenV to help us make this the healthiest generation ever.
