COVID-19 update 24 July

COVID-19 testing for Don KR staff

Castlemaine Health is urging Don KR staff to get tested for COVID-19.

Castlemaine Health is onsite today Friday, 24 July at Don KR to conduct COVID-19 testing of Don KR staff only. Testing for Don KR staff will be available at their premises over the weekend.

We are working in partnership with local and regional health agencies and local councils to support the local community through this situation.

There are no plans to complete routine testing on community members. However, anyone with symptoms should seek testing from their local GP or a testing station in line with current advice from the Department of Health and Human Services.

For Don KR staff who live further afield Bendigo Health is operating two COVID-19 screening clinics. No appointment is required. The Bendigo Health clinics are:

  • Drive through clinic open from 7.30am-7.30pm daily and is accessible via Mercy Street only.
  • Walk in COVID-19 Screening Clinic on Stewart Street is open from 10am-5.30pm seven days a week. Free parking is available across the road.

Testing is also available in Maryborough, please call ahead.
