We are delighted to welcome Melodie Cameron to the Living Well team at Dhelkaya Health. Melodie will focus on health promotion and education initiatives, community engagement and inclusive service delivery, and the provision of comprehensive clinical services and integrated care, with a particular focus on adults and older community members.
Melodie is a registered nurse with more than 12 years’ experience across acute care, primary health care, and community health settings. Her background includes supporting people with chronic disease management and delivering health education programs. She has also held senior clinical roles with the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, where she supported Aboriginal health services across Victoria in areas such as clinical governance, infection prevention, and vaccination programs.
With over six years’ experience in community-based nursing, Melodie has a strong interest in mental health and wellbeing, health promotion, preventative care, and addressing the social determinants of health. She is excited to support active, healthy living across the Mount Alexander Shire.
