Dhelkaya Health is offering the Maldon community a chance to learn how to stay safe during the hot summer months with a special talk on heat health and snake bite first aid.
Led by Community Health Nurse Jenny Miko, the session will take place on Friday 13 December from 10am to 11am at the Maldon Neighbourhood Centre.
“As the climate shifts, we’re seeing more hot and humid days, making it important to understand how heat can impact health,” said Jenny Miko. “We’ll focus on tips for staying cool, particularly for those with existing health conditions, and how to get help when needed.”
Jenny will also provide important information on first aid for snake bites, which are more common in the heat.
