Vaccination Clinic – COVID, Influenza & Japanese Encephalitis
We’re working with Bendigo Health to offer a series of free walk-in vaccination clinics at Dhelkaya Health’s Castlemaine campus beginning this Saturday. Vaccinations available at the clinic are:
- COVID-19
- Influenza
- Japanese Encephalitis.
The clinic will be held in our Auditorium at 142 Cornish Street, Castlemaine. No bookings required, just turn up on the day.
Clinics will run:
- Saturday 5 November 12 noon to 4.15pm
- Friday 18 November 12 noon to 4.15pm
- Friday 2 December 12 noon to 4.15pm
Please note there is significant global demand for the Japanese Encephalitis vaccine. Victoria has a limited supply and therefore access is restricted to specific priority groups, targeted to those most at risk. Read more about the Japanese Encephalitis priority groups.
You’ll also have the chance to help your town by chatting to the nurses on the day about taking part in a serosurvey (small blood sample and questionnaire) to understand more about the risks of Japanese Encephalitis.
