Dhelkaya Health is inviting the community to come together for Men’s Health Week with a two‑day event focused on connection, wellbeing, and access to local support services.
Held in the Castlemaine Library foyer from 10 am to 2 pm on Monday 15 June and Wednesday 17 June, the event aims to raise awareness and encourage men to take positive steps toward better health.
Day 1: Monday 15 June – Active living and nutrition
The first day will focus on physical health, movement, and nutrition, offering practical ways for men to stay active and informed. Activities include:

- LGBTIQA+ wellbeing support from 10 am to noon
- Nordic walking demonstration from 11 am to 1 pm
- nutrition, diabetes and physiotherapy service information from 1 pm to 2 pm
- additional resources and activities throughout the day.
These sessions are designed to help men build healthier habits and learn more about local services that can support long‑term wellbeing
Day 2: Wednesday 17 June – Mental health and wellbeing
The second day shifts focus to mental and emotional health, recognising the importance of connection, early support, and reducing stigma. The poster outlines offerings such as:
- mini health assessments from 10 am to 2 pm
- counselling services information and referral pathways from noon to 2 pm
- housing support from 10 am to noon
- paternal care support resources from 10 am to noon
- additional wellbeing resources available across the day.
The event theme, “Connecting for health”, reinforces the message that strong social connections and accessible support networks play a vital role in men’s health outcomes.
